Who We Are
GET BUSY LIVING
Everyone ages. It is an inherent property of life. As our bodies and minds develop over time, we adapt to these changes by modifying our decisions and actions. The later years of life can be especially challenging, but Applewood Manor is here to help. At Applewood Manor, we listen to the needs of our residents in order to understand their limitations, offer care which is unique and second to none. We offer individually furnished rooms which are clean and equipped with your own bathroom. We offer a wheelchair accessible facility, daily fresh home cooked meals, medications customized & delivered at home and supervised activity & social programs, including, walking, stretching, yoga, gardening, barbecue, visit to local coffee shop, grocery store, etc. Your family & friends are welcome & encouraged to visit almost any time of the day.
We work closely with Client Patient Access Services (CPAS) & Saskatoon Health Region to model a customized care package for every resident. Our caring staff includes certified caregivers, doctor on call & a registered nurse who are fully capable of handling any eventuality at any time of the day or night. Some of our residents have happily stayed with us for over 5 years which shows how good this facility has been for them!

NOURISH YOUR SOUL
Many of our community members at Applewood Manor require some degree of health and well-being monitoring. Our Retirement Home provides complimentary and customizable Nutritional and Dietary Counseling services for all our residents. By catering to the personal needs of each resident, we go just one step further to make everyone feel like they’re truly at home at Applewood Manor.
NEW LIFE OPPORTUNITIES
Throughout the year, we provide our residents with Assisted Living to make sure there’s always something exciting to look forward to at Applewood Manor. It’s just one of the things that sets our Retirement Home apart from the rest. We’re passionate about providing opportunities for our residents to make new memories and friends while enjoying our services.
EXTRA SUPPORT PROVIDED
There comes a point in everyone’s life when they may no longer be able to take care of themselves. Nature calls for the families of each individual to take care of them, just as they were cared for when they were young. Unfortunately, careers and other matters of modern life can often make this a difficult task. Applewood Manor provides the support that retirees and their families require, including Medication Monitoring services, which we are more than happy to offer.
SUPPORTING LOCAL CHARITIES
IT TAKES A VILLAGE
We are proud to support local charities in the Saskatoon area, incl., Saskatoon Food Bank, Friendship Inn, Royal University Hospital & Kinsmen Club.
COMMITMENT TO VOLUNTEER
GIVE FROM THE HEART
Seniors at Applewood Manor often describe their experience with us as an incredible way to live their lives. Your Commitment to Volunteer will be used to support the staff, services, and facilities we provide to all of our Retirement Home community members. If you’d like to make a Commitment to Volunteer today, just get in touch and we’ll take care of all the details with you.
